Sabu International School faces serious financial challenges!
Since no governments or outside agencies support the school, Sabu depends upon the support of the greater community -- YOU.
Although parents, friends, and students generate funds for the school, our existing human and financial resources are insufficient to sustain our growth. Thus, we rely on sponsors to help the school achieve it mission of educating kids.
For the 2008/2009 school year's operating costs, we require $51,680.12 US dollars in assistance. The greatest need of the school are the teachers saleries, the rent and school supplies.

SABU COMMUNITY FACES SERIOUS CHALLENGES
Being located in an under developed nation, especially in Guinea and its Sub-region presents many challenges for Sabu International:
- Inaccessible quality schools and the use of violence and oppressive measures to manage discipline in West Africa Schools has continue to give rise to perpetual conflicts and uncountable miseries in the sub region.
- Illiteracy, poverty, and insufficient medical facilities have caused a galloping increase in the death rates of youth and community members as whole.
- Juvenile delinquency in the region has been one of the major problems of under developed regions as the advancement of any nation lies in the hands of the coming generations.
